2023 Cohort

In the Gulf Blue Navigator’s first year, we welcomed six teams of bluetech visionaries to Gulfport, Mississippi. Leading us into the future with big ideas that promote ocean health and innovation in the new blue economy, these startups embarked on a six-month journey.

Blue Ocean Gear

The Gulf Blue Navigator program offers blue technology startups a chance to operate in a unique region of the United States, characterized by a complex body of water. The Gulf of Mexico presents distinct challenges and conditions, which allows startups to explore new applications and refine the capabilities of their platforms. Additionally, startups can enrich their experience by interacting with individuals who already confront these challenges daily.

Seatrec

Harvesting electricity from temperature differences in the environment to power underwater robots (ocean floats and gliders), platforms, and sensors in support of ocean research, national defense, and commercial industries.

SafetyNet Technologies

Developing scalable, trusted, and valued solutions that enable sustainable practices in the fishing industry for a world where oceans and people thrive together.

SeaTrac Systems Inc

Manufacturing, selling, and renting persistent, multi-purpose solar-powered Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USVs) to efficiently, safely and cost effectively perform real-time data collection and communications for research, commercial and defense applications.

Marauder Robotics

Building a remote work platform that collects data in near real-time and automates underwater tasks done by divers.

BeeX

Building the most advanced underwater vehicles and software tools to help reduce the costs and risks of underwater work at scale.
